There two servers on the network in question, a Windows 2003 SBS R2 and a
Windows 2008 Standard Edition x64.
The Fax Server role is configured on Windows Server 2008 x64 and the Fax
printer is shared.
In the Fax printer's sharing tab the checkbox to list the fax printer in
Active Directory is checked and the properties dialog is closed.
But the Shared fax printer does not get listed in Active Directory and the
checkbox is shows unchecked.
A domain admin level account is used for all configuration work.
The Shared Fax printer in the Windows SBS 2003 box can be shared in Active
Directory as expected.
any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
