Shared Documents are not visible to "limited user"?

This is an XP Professional OS with all current patches
applied. The C: drive is a network share.

As Administrator I moved all documents that need to be
shared between users of the same PC into the Shared
Documents folder. A user of the PC who has "limited user"
account priviledge cannot see any documents in the "Shared
Documents folder" - please advise if I have missed
something.

? Are the users part of the "Everyone" group, by default
any user account created belongs to the "Everyone" group.
Are the proper permissions applied, in this case, if its
the "Shared Documents" folder, make sure you share the
folder and you must assign "Full Control" to
the "Everyone" group for that folder. This means that all
the users in the "Everyone group" has "Full Control", you
may not want that, as they can edit, delete, etc. You can
just give that folder a "Read" permission. You be the
judge. If you only want certain users to access the
folder, remove the "Everyone" group and create a new
group (name it what you like) and associate(add) the
users you want to that group and add that group to
the "Share Permissions" of that folder and assign the
appropiate permission(s).

Looks like there was really no problem at all - I was
attempting telephone support for what appears to be an
unreliable client. They can see the shared documents from
all accounts - it appears that the person I was talking to
must have been looking in the wrong place!

Thanks for the help.
