Shared contacts dilema

S

Scott Rucci

I am working in a group of 4 people. I want all of us to keep one set
of business contacts which is available as an email address book. I
also want my Palm Pilot (via Intellisync v 5) to sync with these same
contacts.

It seems that I have 2 options, each of which only partially meets my
needs.

Either I can put the contacts into a public folder, in which case the
Palm can't sync to this, but everyone in our group can store contacts
there and it can pop up as the default email address book.

Or I can put the contacts in my contacts folder, in which
Palm/Intellisync can sync to them, but no one else has access to my
contacts as an email address book (even though I've given everyone
owner permission and they can view and modify contacts via the folder
list).

Is there a way to satisfy all of these requirements? Thank you to
anyone who might have any insight or suggestions.

Two options:

1) Download and install the freee Personal Contacts Synchronizer tool from
Microsoft's web site. It copies (note: NOT synchronizes) items to your
defautl Contacts folder.

2) Get a different Palm sync tool that can handle multiple contacts folders.
