I want to create a shared calendar (which is no problem) but allow users to
access and add themselves to a meeting. Can I set it to limit the number of
attendees? I.E. Maximum 8 people. Cheers in advance

No. But you can send out a memo telling staff that the maximum number of attendees will be 8.

Cheers Milly,
I wish it was that simple, they don't read important stuff unfortunately. I
heard Exchange 2007 can deal with it.
