shared calendar meetings disappearing

Using outlook 2000 corporate/workgroup and exchange 2000
with sp3.
Delegate creates meeting request, sends it to 5 recipients
and all 5 respond with acceptance to meeting. Meeting
displays itself on manager's shared calendar. Delegate
prints out calendar night before event occurs. Next
morning, event has 'disappeared' from manager's calendar.
The recipents still have event on their respective
calendars. Asked delegate & manager to check deleted
items but event was not there.
Does anyone know why this would occur?
Any help would be appreciated. Tahnks.
