I'm on a exchange server, and have a calendar I'd like to
share with other users on my network. I have added them to
the permissions for that calendar. It's my understanding
that once I do that Outlook is supposed to invite those
users to my calendar. It's not, and those users I've
given "author" permissions to are unable to access my
shared calendar on the server. How can I fix it so they
not only can view/modify that calendar, but have it show
up in their folder list? Please respond offlist. Thanks in
advance.

How did you add the other users? By adding them as delegates or just by
giving them permission?
They'll need to add your mailbox as a secondary mailbox to their profile
- Tools, Accounts, select the exchange account, then More Settings after
opening the account properties, advanced tab.

I went to the calendar I created in the mailbox, right
clicked, properties, then went to the permissions tab, and
gave them "author" permissions. I was lead to believe
after talking to several people that once you added
someone there that they would automatically be sent an
invite to view your calendar. I tried the adding as a
secondary mailbox, that didn't work either. Any other
suggestions? Is it something on the server side I should
have the exchange admin look into, or something that can
be solved on the client side?
