D.Q.

We are running Exchange 2003 with Outlook 2007. On one computer the shared
calendar no longer contains any data. The user can see the blank calendar
and can add data to it, but then it disappears.

Hi Oliver,

Thanks for your suggestion. However, when I try to start Outlook with the
command line: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\outlook.exe
/Cleanviews it returns a message stating that Windows canont find
'C:\Program'. Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again. Do
you have any suggestions as to why I get that message?

Oliver,

I figured out that I had forgotten the quotation marks in the command line
and was then able to run the program. Unfortunately, I still can't see any
data on that calendar. Do you have any other suggestions?

Hi D.Q.",

if you change the "view" in the calendar to "Categories" can you see the
items now?

Does the user has all rights on this "shared calendar"?

If you make a "login" with another username (another mailbox) on this
computer, with a user who also have rights to see the "shared" items, can
this user see all items?

Maybe this behavior is more a question for special Exchange users.

I would ask the same question in the Exchange newsgroup:

Hi Oliver,

Thanks for your suggestions, however, I was not successful. I tried
removing the user from the calendar to be shared and reinviting the person
again, and that worked. The strange thing is that when I try to change the
permissions from reviewer to contributor the data goes away. I have that
working on other computers so not really sure why this is happening, but at
least the data is now there.

Thanks again.

Hi D.Q.,

did you ask the question also in the Exchange Newsgroup?
I would ask the same question in the Exchange newsgroup:
news:microsoft.public.exchange.clients

I do not have the knowledge for Exchange server and I think it must be a
part of the "limitations" (userrights) of Exchange, and I am not familar
with this part of Exchange, sorry.

Hi Oliver,

I will post the question in the Exchange newsgroup because I know that we
are able to change the permissions since it is working with other users on
our system. I will consider this issue resolved for this part. I appreciate
all of your help and suggestions.
