Shared borders/Navigation Link

I am using a theme with shared borders. The link does not
have enought room and the page banner lists incorrectly.
I have looked and looked and can find nothing telling me
how I can give more space to this area so the titles will
reflect correctly. Is this possible with Themes? If it
isn't configurable why don't they list this restriction
someplace in their help information?

You have 3 choices:

1. Shorten your page titles so that they fit.

2. Modify the theme, and either reduce the font sizes or make the images
larger, then you have remove the current theme, and apply the new modified
theme, which you saved under a new name.

3. Don't use FP Themes/Navigation component, create you own navigation
structure manually, etc.

Dustin,

The only way to have complete flexibility with your navigation structure is
to not use the FP navigation component (themes generally implement
navigation via the navigation component).

You would use either text or image links, with image link you would use a
image/graphic application to create your images with whatever text that you
want on your buttons, in whatever font and size, then import into your
current open FP web, then insert on to your page, and create your hyperlink.
Personally I prefer text, since it is easier to add new links in the future,
as well as the search engines prefer text links. I implement these into my
pages using the FP Include Page component, as well as creating a single
banner image with the site name for all pages.

DHTML menu are ok, I can't recommend any, as I don't use them, as they are
not really search engine friendly.

MS uses DHTML menus.
