Shared and other places

In the help & support items, it says that every folder has a link to Other
Places and in that folder there is Shared. There is no such thing in mine. Is
that a Dell change or is it hidden somehow?

Open a folder.
Click on Tools at the top of the screen.
Click on "Folder Options".
On the General page, make sure "Show common tasks in folders"
is selected.
Click OK.
This should add a bar on the left hand side of the window.
Look in the middle section, Other Places, for Shared Documents.
