Share Reconnect Dialog

Is there any way to remove/disable/hide the share reconnect dialog if
the shares are not available when you log in?

When my machine is the first to log in, it keeps popping up, and it
irritates me. I don't want to remove the drive mappings, because when
the other machines are switched on, I often use them.

Shares and mapped drives are two different things. The best solution is to
never use mapped drives to begin with,...use UNC Shortcuts instead.

Thank you, that specific example didn't work. But I did a search for
that specific key, and I found one on-

That one works (although it misses the SYSTEM part of the reg path)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\NetworkProvider
