DHutt,
I would not do what you plan, if using OE, it might be safe in OUTLOOK9x/200x. In time your message store will be corrupted, and messages might be permantly lost for all. Also the OE address book could also be damaged, if you share a non stand alone OE Address Book (*.wab) file.
For the mail acct and its messages, you will need to place the acct in each persons' OE identity. And set OE to leave a copy of the messages on the server for that acct, so others can download the same messages. Now you will need decide when the messages will be deleted from the server. In OE you can set that messages be deleted after XX days automatically, you may need to select someone to manage this. There might be limits on a ISP's mail server, that you might need to pay more for a larger mail acct, .
In OE> TOOLS> Accounts> Mail Accts tab> Select Mail acct> Properties button> Advance tab> Select Leave Messages on Server> Select how you want messages deleted from server.

I am setting up distinct "Users" for the first time in
WinXP, and I want to share one email account and address
book among all users for purposes of OE. No problem
directing OE to a shared email folder for each user, but
can't figure out how to do the same with the Windows
Address Book. Any help greatly appreciated.
