Hello ...
Can a single Access database be shared between two (2) computers, one
running Office 2003, the other 2007?
Here is the basic set up:
Desktop 001 (DT001) running Vista & Office 2007, on network 001
Access database xyz has been created, and at least up to now,
maintained on DT001
Notebook 001 (NB001) is running XP Pro & Office 2003. It is generally
standalone, but can be run on network 001
would like the ability to access & modify database xyz, as well as
the individual records, when in either standalone or networked mode on NB001.
Would like any modification or additions to the database design and or
records made on either computer, in whatever mode, to be merged into one
database without loss of any changes.
Is this possible?
Thanks, RCB
