Is there a way to freeze the positions of form controls so that when
selecting them in design mode for editing properties that they are not
accidentally moved? Realigning radio buttons in frames, for example, is a
pain.

You can group them with the frame, so that if it gets moved, the entire
frame will be moved. Select all of the controls you desire to group then go
to Format|Group.

Wayne, that doesn't do the job. After grouping, I can still select a radio
button or its label and move it inside the frame relative to the other
buttons/labels.

UpRider, I don't think you can "freeze" the controls.

In Access 2003, you can group controls by selecting them and choosing Group
on the Format menu. However, an option group already behaves as a group, as
Wayne pointed out.

What I personally do is to set run the mouse up through the option buttons
so they are all selected, and then type the value I want into the Left
property in the Properties box. This sets the property identically for all
the selected controls. Repeat for the labels.

UpRider,
If you mean that the control moves a bit when you select, it just hit Ctrl-Z (undo)
right away. The control will go back to it's original position, but still remain slected.
Then edit the properties as needed. When done, select the background of the form, or some
other object, to deselect the original control.
