Make your own sundial, a wonderful program and website.

From the author's site...

Shadows is a Freeware which allows one to create its personalized sundial,
for a specific location and orientation. The program prints the drawing
full-sized on several pages if necessary, provides the template of the
style that you just need to cut, and provides the co-ordinates of lines for
the drawing of large sundials.

A location database allows you to create the sundial for a location of your
choice: more than 1200 location worldwide with longitude, latitude and time
zone are included. The program also allows one to create a sundial for the
southern hemisphere.
The user chooses the drawing options: hour lines (every five, fifteen,
thirty minutes or every hour), declination lines (for every Zodiac sign,
for the solstices or the equinoxes), hours displayed in roman or arab
numbers on 12 or 24 hours, drawing of the curve in 8 of the equation of
time, at noon or at every hour line. The color and the thickness of lines
can be changed individually.
The sundial can provide the local solar time, the mean local time or even
the legal time by the drawing of curved lines.

Shadows is delivered with a complete on-line help, explaining the basis of
the gnomonics, providing useful advices to build and decorate the sundial,
and containing a bibliography and a list of mottoes in latin or english.
The program interfaces are available in several languages: French, English,
German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch and Hungarian.
