I have a chart I am using to track crude inventory levels over the pas
5 years. The chart shows only 3 series...one being the historica
high, one the historical low, and the third being the current year. I
there anyway to shade an area between 2 series on a chart. My goal i
to have the area shaded between the high and the low series so that th
current year inventory levels stand out more. Any help would b
greatly appreciated. Thanks

Make a stacked area chart. Column 1 is the date, Column 2 is the Low,
Column 3 is the (High minus Low), Column 4 is your current year. Make a
stacked area chart of all three series. Right click on the current year
data, select Chart Type, change it to a line chart, then format it
however you want it. Double click on the bottom area (Low), and on the
Patterns tab, select None for area fill.
