Severe Sound card stuttering problem

Ati Radeon X800
Windows XP Service Pack 2

These components ran fine together before a reformat.

Immediately after reformat, before I even got all of my software loaded I
noticed the stuttering problem. So, I switched the card around to different
slots, uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, checked for IRQ conflicts etc.

Still do not have a solution. Has anyone seen a fix for this that actually
works? Have contacted Creative, checked all over the web, still no solution.

Try the Soundblaster in the PCI slot FURTHEST away from the Graphics card.

And of course, the latest drivers for both from www.ati.com and
www.soundblaster.com
