Hi,

I am trying to configure a server to host a website and have a couple of
questions. Does the server have to be a domain controler? If so can it be a
secondary DC? The website domain name is casadelperno.com Must the domain
name in Active Directory match the website domain. For example I would call
the server myserver.casadelperno.com I found the knowledge base article
315982. If the server is not configured with the same domain name, I suppose
this article would explain it all, right? Thank you for your help.

You don't need a Domain Controller to host a website, I wouldn't recommend
using a DC for a Web server either, and if you did create an Active
Directory domain I wouldn't recommend using the public domain name for the
AD domain name. This final point causes an Administrative Pain in the Butt.
