Is it possible to configure severals smtp server for the same email address.
The problem is that I use my portable in severals countries and the smtp
servers are not the sames. For the moment I use 2 differents accounts but
with this solution I receive my e-mail twice. Somebody have the solution?
Thank you

Your solution will work. Simply set one of those accounts so it
doesn't download mail:

Go to Tools, Accounts, select the account, Properties, on the
General tab uncheck "Include this account when receiving..."

If you have the same pop3 address in two different email accounts with
different SMTP servers, you still should only get one email message from the
first pop3 account that grabs your email. I say that because part of
"getting" mail from the pop3 server is also telling that pop3 server to then
delete that message. Therefore your 2nd email account when looking at the
same pop3 server should find no messages. I can only assume the pop3 server
is slower in deleting after giving your 1st account the mail than your 2nd
account is in "getting".

As for multiple SMTP accounts, I have done it but remember to set the
account with the then correct SMTP server as the default since Mail will
always try and send to the current default SMTP server.

Thank you for your answers. The problem is that I don't want to download my
emails from the server in my portable because I have a second PC where I
centralise my mails and I only wan't to download my mails in this computer.

Hi Shawn,

It's what I did. but when I do this with 2 accounts (for my 2 smpt
servers), I receive my emails twice.

Ok, when I do this, I only receive one mail. But It's not very practical
because with 2 accounts I have to select the right account when I send a
mail. It would be easier with a solution like in thunderbird where you can
use the default smtp server. So I think there is not a similar solution in
windows mail. Thank you for your help

On the computer where you don't want to download, setup a message rule:
For all messages
Do not download

Windows Mail does not have an explicit feature to select
a default SMTP server. However, when you change locations,
you can change which account is the default, which accomplishes
the same thing.
