Several problems. Need help!!

My computer has the following problems:

1. The taskbuttons have disappeared from the taskbar, so if i have several
windows open, I have to use the taskmanager to switch between them.

2. The internet connection is not working properly. It works fine for 1 to 2
hours, then i get an error message that there is no connection, and i have to
restart the computer again to use the net. I connect through a router, butr
the other computers work just fine!

3. several times when i try to rip a music cd into the hard disk, it takes
the first few songs and then the computer just stops, with power light on but
the monitor swqitches to power saving mode. I have to te swith the
electricity off and restart to get it back working.

Can someone help me please!

How do you connect? Dial-up, satellite, DSK, Cable
