Hi,

I would like to use several extern join in a query but the data base
Access send to me a message error.

Query :
SELECT CLI_ID, CLI_NOM, TYP_CODE, TEL_NUMERO AS TEL_CONTACT,
EML_ADRESSE, ADR_VILLE
FROM T_CLIENT C
LEFT JOIN T_TELEPHONE T ON C.CLI_ID = T.CLI_ID
LEFT JOIN T_EMAIL E ON C.CLI_ID = E.CLI_ID
LEFT JOIN T_ADRESSE A ON C.CLI_ID = A.CLI_ID

Message error :
Erreur de syntaxe (opérateur absent) dans l'expression 'C.CLI_ID =
T.CLI_ID
LEFT JOIN T_EMAIL E ON C.CLI_ID = E.CLI_ID
LEFT JOIN T_ADRESSE A ON C.CLI_ID = A.CLI_ID'.

What is the syntax to use the join with Access? (I must construct the
queries myselft without using 'Microsoft Access' )

Help!

Hi,

Use parenthesis to group one join at a time. That does NOT indicate the
order of execution, but the parser seems to require them.

FROM (( t_client As c
LEFT JOIN t_telephone As t ON c.cli_ID= t.cli_ID)
LEFT JOIN t_email As e ON c.cli_ID= e.cli_ID)
LEFT JOIN t_adresse As a ON c.cli_ID= a.cli_ID

Hoping it may help,
