Setup Was Unable to Open Information File

In '03 when I got this pc with only 40G hardrive. I deleted all the games.
Since then I've not been able to get into Windows add/remove Components. I
always get...."Setup was unable to open information file games.inf" Error
0x2 at line 0.

After all these years I now want to get into it. What do I do?
