Setup.dll and CEAppMgr

If I want to use a setup.dll to customize my installation, do I need to use
the process described in
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnppcgen/html/netcfdeployment.asp?
I.e., if I'm using setup.dll, is it true that I can't do it deploying the
CAB directly to the device, but rather that I must use CEAppMgr?

Deployment does not change because of Setup.dll presence. However, your CAB
will become CPU dependent as setup DLL is native.
