I have Cox HS internet, well the lowest, cheapest
version. It works fairly well, well at least better
than AOL dialup. I was told that setting up my HS
connection with XP would be more beneficial than using
the COX install disk....Is this true? If so would
someone pleae tell me the steps to setup this up??

Yes, DO NOT INSTALL THEIR SOFTWARE, it generally causes more harm than good.
Typically you just have to plug the ethernet cable from the cable modem into
your network card, and windows does the rest.
