I have tried uninstalling (completely) and Gcuncompress is
the correct version 94k version. But it always starts with
Setup assistent every time. The logo is not in the tray at
bottom unless I log off and back in again, even then
trying to start brings up Setup assistent.
Any clues when this will be fixed and why it happens.
I never had any problems with the first Beta.

Are you logged in under an account with Administrator privileges?

I'm having the same problem. I e-mailed Microsoft to but
no help.Even in The Advanced Tools The Tracks Eraser
won't stay checked and Auto Updater won't stay Enabled.
All this started recently, never had any problems before
either. Need help...

Hello Rufus,

Try this:

Goto: Start/Control Panel/Add-Remove programs/MSAS
then click on suport info!!!
Then click on repair!

1. Completely uninstall Microsoft AntiSpyware.
2. Delete the directory C:\Program Files\Microsoft AntiSpyware
3. Install Microsoft AntiSpyware.

You will need to recreate all your MSAS settings afterwards.
