setup an IT deparment procedure

Hello all,
Can Any one send me to how start a new IT department in a growing company?
they have around 25 computer 16 of them located in one place and the rest is spread among work area.

I don't want to be the enemy at all. But you made a post before about been an IT specialist and then come along a few days later and ask a completely ridiculous question on how to set up an IT department. If you were such a specialist you wouldn't be asking these questions. :D
 
Ya I do. But Looking for another procedure, another idea, some thing like multiplicity because this day I am work with XX company tomorrow may be employed by xyz company so be info rich you will not loose.
 
Ok in my opinion, wether you work for XX company or XYZ company. The basic structure of any IT department is going to be the same :D
 
How much ££££ or $$$$

How much have you got to spend?
As this may limit you on what you can or cant do?
You may want to get a few quotes for the cabling if your own company cant do it? Do you have a dedicated IT room where a server/router/switch etc could be kept that is secure?
