Setup always launches

Each time application is launched, the setup dialogue
starts up, and I have to step thru the set-up steps just
to run a scan or check a setting. Tried re-installing,
same deal.

Good try Andre, but repeated removals, followed by
repeated clean-ups using the utility hasn't helped. It
happens from any MSAS shortcut (desktop, systray, Start
Menu) or by double clicking on the Giant exe itself.
That's still a good clean-up utility, though. Have you
seen this bug before?

Are you logging in with admin privileges or limit user?

LT, Are you by chance running both the Windows firewall
and a third-party firewall such ZoneAlarm ? If so, disable
the Windows firewall. Running 2 of anything like
firewalls, AV's or antispyware/antimalware at the same
time may sound like better protection but may cause
conflicts more often than not.

Indeed, I am running both AdAware and this particular node
of the network sits behind the corporate firewall, so I'll
accept that as the deal. Classic "Seemed like a good idea
at the time". Thanks John, Andre and blkwint64 for your
help. I still think it's a good utility.
