setttings for clicking on links

How do I setup IE so that when I click on a link on a
webpage, that IE will automatically open a new page
instead of navigating the current page over to a new one?
I created a shortcut to a url that my company uses
frequently, onto my toolbar, and whenever I open it, it
automatically overrides any window I currently have open.
Help Please!
 
Go to Tools, Internet Options..., Advanced tab and
look under the Browsing category, uncheck "Reuse windows for launching
shortcuts"
