computers.. :( I have no time to edit settings in each
computer..

This is a BETA version !! If something changes to Beta 2
and the upgrade process you stand with 50 PCs with a lot of
work.
Maybe a small risk but it must be considered.

And it can also mean safety problems.

One enterprise version is coming.

I think you would expect such features in the Enterprise Edition being
developed Maris, the current beta is being targetted at home users.

You can expect some changes by beta 2, I hope they make able to save
definitions similar to an Office Outlook .pst file.

True. If you are concerned about how much work there is with modifing
settings with 50 PCs, it will be even worse when Beta 2 comes out and you
have to manually install it on all those PCs. Might be best to use a non
beta product on most of your PCs until a non-Beta of MS AS is available.
Seems you could be more focused in your beta testing if you were only using
5 PCs for testing instead of 50.

But don't mis-understand me. I completely agree with your import/export
idea. I really hope they add that. I know there will be a better corporate
solution by MS in the future. But even for a home user with only 5 PCs, it
would be nice to only setup MS AS once and then export/import that. But even
doing that for 50 PCs would still be a pain and using a Beta product on so
many, knowing that even a big Beta 2 change is coming up, seems silly to me.

Again, I hope that export/import is added to the current non-cooprate
version as well as it will probably be included in some format in a corp
version.

Should be able to do "what" with Active Directory? Import/Export MS AS
settings with Active Directory? Or are you saying that in the future Active
Directory will do this for MS AS? Or are you talking about login scripting
to do unattended MS AS installs, etc, from Active Directory? I know this
isn't a long thread right now, but I am not following your short comment.

I meant deploy MSAS with Active Directory. I don't know specifically, but
there are tools for deploying software over a network with Active Directory.
