Hi, I know there are a lot of posts about this sort of
problem but I have spent ages reading and cant find an
answer,
Some time ago I had problems with my video driver and in
trying to fix it had to remove the power management thing
from Control Panel, System, Device Manager, System
devices. As far as I can remember I thought this might
be causing the problems but after getting rid of it found
it wasn't.
Anyway, how can I get it back?
I can still go into Power Management but all the settings
are grayed out, I can click "save as" but it doesn't do
anything.

Thanks for any advice
Dave

If you're using Win98 I'm pretty sure you can get back Power
Management via Add New Hardware (odd though this seems). Your computer
should identify it automatically in the second search, after seeking
plug and play additions.

PS: You can get to Device Manager a whole lot faster via Window Key -
Pause.
