Hi there,
I am in the process of setting up an XP SP2 laptop.
Something that would save me time would be the ability to use the same base
or system settings for all users.
For example we have the 'hidden' Administrator account by default.
When going through the XP setup I have to add a username so I have setup a
user called Admin who will also have full admin rights.
I intend to set up a user with limited access who will be the main user of
the laptop but I do now want him to have control over certain things such as
the ability to adjust the clock or be able to install programs..
Now if I spend the time under the main Administrator account to get things
setup the way I want them, desktop, menus, toolbars, power schemes,
preferences etc. etc when I either logon as Admin or set up a new user all
these settings are lost and the new user starts with a default setup.
How best to setup the laptop so I only have to go through the preferences
setup once and have this applied to all other user accounts - current and
future?
