I have a computer at home with WIN XP Pro and would like
to access it remotely FROM my office. The Office compter
does NOT have WIN XP. Can I still set it up and access
it?

Please explain how. Thank you so much in advance.

Take a look at
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/using/howto/gomobile/remotedesktop/default.asp
to see how to setup Remote Desktop.. You can install the Remote
Desktop client on your office system by using your Windows XP CD
(install additional components).

If you have a firewall or router, you need to either allow TCP Port
3389 through it or forward TCP 3389 to your XP system (if you have a
router).

How do I do what you are suggesting above? Where would I
check to see these cthings are done?

I am very new at this. All I know is that our house has
3 computers connected into one router.

Thanks.

Well, we need more information to help you. Every router is different
- thus, the procedures are different....
