I am trying to share the database within our workgroup. I created the
database on the file server and set the permissions for the users using the
database tool. When we go to the user computers we get the error that we
cannot connect to the database?

Does anyone know what could be wrong.

thank you.

Using a non english office version ? Well, just send a complaint to MS. It
is just not possible (unless you know how to program the sql database
manually). Best way to go is a dedicated pc with outlook + bcm and a shared
database on that pc. Don't install outlook on a exchange server. Would have
been nice if this info was on MS site.

I am not using a non-english version. I did a test and set this up on a
machine running XP Professional and we are all able to connect over the
network. For some reason, i cannot connect to the database on the Windows
2003 Server machine. If anyone has any suggestions, please email me. Thank
you for all of your help.
