I've just created a database that requires an Administrator and a few other users whcih will have limited access to certain tables/queries etc. I need each user and the Administrator to have a password and user name.
I've read the seqfac document, but that confuses me even more than i already am. Hence, i need need some step by step instructions.
Much obliged,

Take a look at my website for a summary of the steps required:

Also you can find step by step instructions at

I can't figure it out. In Access 2007 I have read the help files and I have
looked at the system.mdw.
I don't understand the relationship.
How do I set the default workgroup?
I tried to use the security wizard and it said I could not because I was
logged in as admin.
This is a simple database that I need 4 groups of users for.

Help
Tina

Also, I want a workgroup linked to this database only.
Then how does this work when I upload to the shared drive on the network?
The user security database stays on my harddrive or does it get uploaded as
well?
