I have a laptop running XP Home and a desktop running
98SE. The two are networked together wireless. I have
remote desktop installed on both but I get stuck making
the connetion. I browse for computer, see my
network "home", try to select it and get the following
error "the home domaine/network does not contain any
terminal servers. I'm stumped

Neither XP Home or Windows 98SE can act as a Remote Desktop "host".

Look at either NetMeeting Remote Desktop Sharing (RDS) or UltraVNC. Both can provide an encrypted
data link to allow you to do what you want.

NetMeeting in built-in to XP and W2K and can *NOT* be upgraded. To start NetMeeting on an XP
platform go to "Start -> Run" and type conf at the command line to start the wizard. Look at this KB
article for additional help...

Please note that RDS is *NOT* compatible with XP Remote Desktop.

Get the UltraVNC server/client software and encryption plug-in from...
