I have XP Pro on my office and home computers. I'm trying
to set it up to access my office computer from home. Its
a bit confusing trying to use Windows help to guide me
through the process. Any good suggestions on what I
should read or how to go about it?

Look at these pages for help...

If your office PC is behind a firewall/NAT/router then you also need to forward/open TCP Port 3389
to the private office LAN IP of your desktop. Contact your office network administrator for help
with that. Call using the public IP of the firewall/NAT/router.
