In the remote desktop instructions it states "The computer must also be part
of a corporate network in which remote desktop connections are permitted."
Does this mean that if I have a simple business using only 2 computers and a
DSL connection that I cannot use remote desktop? Any help at all on this
will be GREATLY appreciated.

No, that is a bit misleading... You can easily use Remote Desktop over a
small office/home office (SoHo) LAN and from the public internet. See this
page for help...
