I HAVE TRIED TO SET UP MY WIN2K PROFF SERV PACK 4 FOR
ROUTING AND ACCESS BY INSTALLING THE ADMIN TOOLS FROM
WIN2K SERVER CD AS SUGGESTED BY MICROSOFT KNOWLEDGE BASE
ARTICLE 300434 WHEN I ACCESS ROUTING AND REMOTE ACCESS AND
CLICK ON THE SERVER TO ENABLE IT I GET "YOU DO NOT HAVE
THE REQUIRED PERMISSIONS TO VIEW THE PROPERTIES" AND THE
SERVER HAS A RED CROSS AGAINST IT IN BOTTOM LEFT CORNER
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO ENABLE IT

Excerpt from the RRAS Help:

To enable and configure the remote access server, you must be logged on as a
member of the Administrators group.
If this server is a member of a Windows 2000 Active Directory domain and you
are not a domain administrator, instruct your domain administrator to add
the computer account of this server to the RAS and IAS Servers security
group in the domain of which this server is a member. The domain
administrator can add the computer account to the RAS and IAS Servers
security group by using Active Directory Users and Computers or with the
'netsh ras add registeredserver' command.

Just curious who could be the first mumbling something about your k/b and/or
CapsLock :) Hint: if you'll post in RichText or HTML format, the font can be
really huge.
