First of all, check the eventlog on the terminal server to
make sure that there are no errors and that the terminal
server is attempting to map the printer. If you see
errors in the eventlog about how the terminal server
doesn't have the correct drivers, then you need to load
the printer's drivers onto the terminal server. Just
create a local printer, load the drivers up, and you
should be good to go. Use the printer drivers that came
with the Windows 2000 disk, rather than drivers that are
available on the Internet.
If that doesn't work, try editing your NTPrint.inf file
and force the system to use the HP LaserJet 4 drivers for
your printer.

greetings all and happy new year! i was hoping someone
could help me setup my printer at home to be able to print
when i login to Terminal Server. My HP is connected to
LPT1 and I can print to it fine on my local machine, but I
use Terminal Server for work and the printer is not
available to me. What setting do I need to change to make
it available? Thank you for any help in advance. Cheers!
