Hi,
I just deleted some important program files inadvertantly. I am not
able to open microsoft office xp with front page and not able to open
winzip. Can I have a program which can delete similar nature of files
automatically or can I get a warning before deleting an important file.

Your question is not really clear; what exactly are you trying to achieve
with Frontpage? Please note it is a web development tool not a word
processor, so "Office XP" documents won't generally open in it. Frontpage
is not really formally part of the Office suite of products.

This is not the Windows or Office newsgroup. Please redirect your questions
to
microsoft.public.windows.general for info about recovering deleted files.
If you want to uinstall the program do so through the correct uinstall
program or through Add/Remove Programs.

If you can't run MS Office correctly, reinstall it from the original CD's.

Usually Windows does prompt with a warning, regarding deleting files. "Do
you want to delete this file "Yes/No".

Where did you delete the files? I doubt you could "accidentally" delete
*program* files i.e. I assume you mean the files that make the program run -
these are usually hidden files in the Program Files folder.

Have you checked the Recycle Bin, click "Restore" to put the files back
where they came from.

Winzip has nothing to do with Frontpage. I'd reinstall that program too (or
if it was a trial, it may have expired).
