Setting up Mac Mail with Exchange

I was wondering how to configure Mac's Mail utility that comes with OS
X with Exchange 2000. One of our client PCs is a Mac and the user
would like to receive office email through his Mac Mail utility. When
setting up I put in the Exchange server internal address 192.168.x.x
for the incoming and outgoing mail server. However, I am having no
luck with this configuration. Maybe I am missing another vital
setting somewhere in the mix but I am not sure. Any help would be
much appreciated.

Hi Brandon!

Your Exchange server must allow IMAP connections for Mail to work. The MAPI
protocol used by Outlook will not work.
