I was just informed about Remote desktop connection and am trying to set it
up for our organization. I currently have a laptop and when I went into
Add/Remove windows components to look for "Internet Information Services" and
didn't find it among the list of options. Is there something that I'm
missing. This is a relatively new laptop with Windows XP Home Edition.

I can open Remote Desktop connection but don't know where to find my
coputer's IP address.
Thanks for your help!

First if the PC you want to remotely access/control is running XP Home then
you can not use Remote Desktop. You could use an alternative like UltraVNC.

If the PC you want to remotely access/control is running XP Pro then look at
