setting up email

i set updifferent e-mails accounts but i want to use a certain one to send
from. i went to where you can add and change accounts and it has the check
mark to make the selected one your default but it still says the other
account is the one it is going to use as the default sending e-mail
 
When replying/forwarding the default account that is being used is the
account that you received the message with.
To then change the account, you can use the Accounts drop down button close
to the Send button.

Include at least;
-your version of Outlook (Help-> About)
-type of mail account (POP3, IMAP, Exchange, HTTP, Outlook Connector,
Exchange, other...?)
-any errors in their exact wording as they are presented to you.
