I'm trying to set up a guest account for others to use
the internet on my PC so that they won't install software
or delete something important. I have the guest account
up and running but it won't allow a connection to be made
with my ISP. Do I need to re-install my ISP? Surely
there's a simpler way around this to enable internet
access for the Guest user account???

I have exactly the same problem and have tried a couple
of different forums to find the answer, all without
success. This is what XP Help and support centre says,

"The guest account is intended for use by someone who has
no user account on the computer. There is no password for
the guest account, so the user can log on quickly to
check e-mail or browse the Internet." So! It is definitely
possible. The only workable solution suggested on one
forum was to forget the Guest Account and just set up a
regular limited account for friends and then delete it
when they are gone. All other suggestions were only half
fixes and involved messing about in the registry.

I'll be interested to see if anybody can solve this one.
