Setting up a server on a lan

I have a 4 computer, 2 hub lan. I'm trying to find a way that I can get
a port set up so that I can set up a server toi run through it. I can
never have anybody gain acess from the internet. Basicly I'm trying to
run a temporary game sever, but can't get it so people can connect.

You don't give sufficient information about how you have your machines
connected to the Internet (e.g. router, ICS, etc.) to answer in much
detail. Check if your router has a "DMZ" capability or does port
forwarding, and RTFM.
