I have bought a another copy of windows xp for another
computer in my house. I would like to setup a home network
and use one access point to get to the enternet. before I
started I had 1 system with xp and 2 systems with windows
98 second addiction. Everything worked find except xp
would not let me acess the other computers " saying the
network would not be sercure.

Now that I have loaded another system with xp home
addiction on that system it will not let me connect to
the enternet, saying conection not found (but it see the
network adaptor and says everything is working fine). All
my setting are set up like the other 2 computers that
have no issues connecting to the net. I am using linksys,
The conection use to work before I loaded xp on the
system (full version). The conextion goes in and out. Now
xp will not let me reinstall the software that goes with
the network adaptor. I am now up to connection 4. I am
using the most current drivers I can get. Do you have
any ideas on what to do next??

Jerry,

Sorry never heard of XP Home "Addiction" of Windows 98 2nd "Addiction"
Otherwise I could help.

Your right, it's not call XP Home Addiction (that's what
I feel like some times when using MS Products)
How about Windows XP Home Edition
Can anyone help now??
