Setting time doesn't work at 120DPI

At 96DPI everything works normally.
At 120DPI the applet for setting the date & time does not allow PM selection.
The portion of the interface for selecting AM or PM is showing both choices
at once.
Selecting PM actually sets a time in the AM.
Has anyone else seen this? Any ideas how to find the source of the problem?

Thanks,

Andrew Roy

Hi KM,

I've already included FontTracker and SysFonts.
And I've already cleaned up the FontSubstitutes.
Have you tried setting the DPI to 120 yourself?
If it works for you, how about sharing a sample SLX file.
Then I'd have something to compare against.

Thanks,
Andrew Roy

Andrew,

Maybe a missing font issue?

Just to include all MS Serifs and MS Shell Dlg fonts.
Also, add Sysfont component from www.xpefiles.com.

Just in case, clean up [HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windo-ws NT\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitu-tes] key.

You can also use Brad's FontTracker component to get more data about your issue: http://www.xpefiles.com/viewtopic.php?t=17

Andrew,

Yes, it does work properly for me here for 96 and 120 DPI settings.
I am using XPPRoEmulation image. You can find it on www.xpefiles.com.

MAke sure all the fints mentioned under [HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\GRE_Initialize] exist in your image (you
better match XP Pro settings there).

Hi KM,

I finally have it fixed. I needed a few more fonts not included in
FontTacker or SysFonts components. But that XPProEmulation image did not help
narrow down my search. It has even more junk than the XPPro on my desk (ie.
MUI components). But it was helpful to know that needle was in there some
where.

Andrew,

Glad you fixed your problems.
I should have mentioned another helpful project that used to be on www.xpefiles.com - AllFonts.slx.
Next time should you have a missing font issue, try that project on mine.
