Setting standard paths for drivers?

Hi,

maybe a very stupid question, but when I install for example the
mainboard drivers in my XP embedded, I have to point during the
installation dialog many times to c:\windows\system32\ and
c:\windows\system32\drivers\ manually. Every time I change something I
am annoyed, so I have decided to fix it now

Where can I add those paths for being searched automatically when a
setup needs something from them?
