setting SNMP values...

I noticed some new GPO entries for SNMP in the Admin Templates section.
I want to also set the value for "Send Authentication Trap" but it is not
listed,
so I created a custom ADM template and loaded it.

I'm new to custom templates so bear with me...

The template sets the value in Software\Policies\SNMP but the SNMP service
does not read this value - although it reads the other values that i set via
GPO. Is there a way to set the actual registry value via GPO ? Or can this
only be accomplished via script ?
