setting shared music folder as default for downloads

Hi,

I recently set up 2 accounts on my xp MCE after only having one for quite a
while. There is one shared library of music on the PC in the Shared MyMusic
folder, however, whenever one of us downloads music it automatically goes
into our personal MyMusic folders. I know you can have WMP check other
personal MyMusic folders and add music in them to your library, but I want
the files to be the shared folder because automatically synchs with another
MCE machine. Is it possible to set the shared MyMusic folder as the
destination folder for all music downloads?

Your post is lacking the info from where you download music.
Without that info, a response would be just speculation. Check
the tools or setup of your app for download destination, etc.

Thanks. I am using WMP11 and downloading from URGE. I have checked the
tools and settings in WMP and the only place I can find to change a
destination folder is for ripping.

Urge is the MTV music download service that is integrated into WMP11.
