To anyone that can help:

I am using outlook 2007.
I have the ability in outlook to send as myself and as another email account.
I want to set a rule so that it replies to a specific sender as the other
account.

The template I have created doesn't allow me to save the other email account
in the from field. So the auto reply is always sent from my primary
account... not what i want.

Any ideas would be helpful.

Thank you!

No, you can't use rules. You can save a template only if the From address
belongs to an acct in your profile. You could create a fake IMAP account
using that address. (Use a real outgoing account that you can send through.)

Diane,

Thank you for the quick response.
The account I am trying to reply with is a "dummy" email account. It
basically is something our whole IT team can send as, and all messages that
go there are routed to the whole team...
So there isn't an acct profile stored in the mail settings.... and the fake
email might work...

do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks!

That is the easiest way to do it. Otherwise, VBA.
